Contact: Appropriate handling of problem gambling and pathological gambling requires profound understanding. This is professionally conveyed by knowledge and information about characteristic features, as well as specific impact on people affected, their relatives, environment and the general public.
- Develop an understanding of the structure and mechanisms of the intoxication by gambling: Why and for what do people play? How does gambling attract people? What types of gambling exist? What happens to brain and mind?
- Learn how to distinguish between enjoyable and problem gambling and where to reach out for help.
Our training is orientated to professionals who encounter people affected and therefore want to widen their understanding of the issue.
